I went to the keynote speaker for the Conflict Conference and found him to be very knowledgable and entertaining. Dr. Folger spoke on the ways that conflict research should (and does) influence the practice of conflict resolution.
Dr. Folger's argument was that people have information from research, but they ignore it when practicing conflict resolution. I understood his argument especially when he talked about the problem with the "don't interrupt" rule.
